1.      How long have you been working in this University?

“I have been working for about 23 years.”

2.      What subjects have you taught, which one has been your favourite and why?

“I’ve taught many subjects. If I start mentioning the number of subjects I’ve taught here, it would take a lot of time. But the only subject I’ve not taught here is Literature. I would say that into quotation, because I remember one day that I taught Literature but under very special circumstances.

And my favorite subject: Phonetics and Phonology. I remember one day I started making researches about Phonetics and Phonology very deeply. I got very interested in knowledge about  Phonetics, and I studied something which is called Acoustic Phonetics. I got the bug . That’s very nice.

And the second subject I like very much is Grammar; I should have pick that, because I see a paragraph as a city, and when I read a paragraph I’m visiting a new city, an unknown city, and I start discovering new things, new structures and I start to see how’s the people living there, different streets, and that makes me feel comfortable.”

3.      Is there any subject you have no taught, but you wish to do. Which one and why?

“Well… as I said before I’ve not taught officially, well not officially but under regular circumstances, not taught Literature, but I think I know how to do it but we need so kind of training and I have to train myself, I have to get or to learn the expressions or vocabulary that Literature teachers use but I would like to teach Literature sometime.”

4.      What are the best experiences you have lived as an English teacher at the teacher training you?

“First of all, I feel very pleased when I hear that somebody at the beginning of my relationship people feel a little bit uncomfortable but at the end o the semester I learn a lot of things from you, so that gives me satisfaction; that’s one thing. The other thing is that before teaching something I prepare myself very well so I know that I have left something in every person.”
